Bigger items mean that they'll take up more space so choose your items wisely. You can only carry a certain amount of items in your inventory and that depends on the size of the items. All it takes is one swing of the melee weapon to take them out. They are small which means they make a hard target to kill. Child zombies are not as frequent as runners, but if you see one, you should focus your attention on them. Taking out the runners should be your first priority as they are the highest risk of getting you infected. There are 3 types of zombies in the game: walkers, runners, and child zombies.
